Sandy and SpongeBob are going to the moon, but at night SpongeBob and Patrick sneak into the rocket to "alien-proof" it. While doing so, they accidentally start up the rocket, but they crash-land back in Bikini Bottom. Thinking they are on the moon, they capture all the "aliens" until Sandy comes and sets them straight. But they capture Sandy and then turn against each other, thinking each other is an alien. Patrick accidentally shoots himself and SpongeBob captures him. SpongeBob lands on the moon thinking the Bikini Bottom has really changed. He looks at the earth and realizes what he has done.
